Oleo sobre tela con bastidor de 52x72 sin marco. RAPSOMANIKIS,JEAN (Corfú, Grecia, 1885-San Sebastián, 1937). Pintor y dibujante. De noble família, estudió Bellas Artes en París y posteriormente fijó su residencia en Barcelona. Cultivó el paisaje y el retrato, habiéndose distinguido trambién como ilustrador de novelas. Celebró esposiciones individuales y participó en muestras colectivas, y certámenes en Barcelona, Marsella, París y Atenas, obteniendo varias distinciones. Durante la guerra civil fué amenazado en Barcelona por lo que se trasladó a San Sebastián. Colaboró con el primer grupo de dibujantes del TBO y publicó sus ilustraciones en "El Hogar y la moda", "Lecturas", "Algo", "Pelayos", etc., Usaba también los pseudónimos "Rapsos" ,"Dasley" y algún otro.
