El mastín napolitano, de origen oriental, es uno de los molosos de aspecto más espectacular, gracias a su piel rica en pliegues que le dan su tipicidad inconfundible y su belleza. Pero tal vez no sepa que estos pliegues son funcionales, que sirven en particular para el combate: así, los mordiscos de los demás perros sólo alcanzan la piel, sin llegar a los órganos vitales. Naturalmente, hoy en día el mastín napolitano ya no tiene ocasión de combatir, pero su carácter bravo y valiente sigue haciendo de él un perfecto perro de guardia, capaz de asustar a cualquier intruso. EXCELENTE ESTADO DE CONSERVACION!!!
